1969 Mercury Montego MX Wagon – $18,000 RNM

December 31, 2021 Update – We were unable to find a buyer willing to pay the private seller’s firm $18,000 reserve price, so we wish him nothing but the best in achieving his goal through another channel.

November 17, 2021 Update – The high bid of $5,500 did not meet the seller’s reserve price of $18,000, so we’ve moved this 1969 Mercury Montego MX station wagon to our “Rides Still Available” Page. Once registered and logged in, select the green “Buy Now” option to either agree to pay the “Buy Now” price or make a realistic counteroffer.

The Guys With Rides team is pleased to offer this driver-quality 1969 Mercury Montego MX Station Wagon in an online reserve style auction on behalf of the private seller. Bidding opened Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at 3:00 PM Eastern Time and will continue for fourteen consecutive days ending at 7:30 PM Eastern time on Wednesday, November 17, 2021.

Here’s what the seller shared about his station wagon:

Here is an original well-cared-for station wagon with only 81000 miles. A California then Idaho car, it sat in a barn for years until it was shipped east last winter as a Covid project. 351 Windsor with automatic. Third seat. Over the winter and spring, everything that required renewing was done. Including: tires and wheels, Edelbrock 4v carb, shocks, dual exhaust, sway bar, windshield, heater core, front end, lots of NOS switches, tailgate rebuilt by a professional shop due to common old station wagon water collection at base, Original light green/yellow paint, great interior, perfect time capsule.
