Classifind Cut: 1946 Buick Convertible Restomod – SOLD!

by | Dec 2021 | Classifinds, Topless Thursday

January 19, 2022 Update – We confirmed the seller of this “Classifind” deleted their listing, so we’re now able to call this one “SOLD!” While this one got away, please reach out either by email or call us directly if you’d like to be informed when we come across something similar.

January 11, 2021 Update – We just noticed the seller of this ’46 Buick restomod just lowered their asking price of $90,000 by $5,000 to land on $85,000.

Call us suckers for good-looking restomod captured in great-looking pictures, but this 1946 Buick convertible restomod originally listed in December 2021 on Craigslist in Brooklyn, New York appears to be a stunning modern modernization of a pre-World War II Buick design. Other than mentioning Air Ride and Air Conditioning, the seller’s description poses many more questions than it answers. The biggest question is whether this Restomod remains in California (the background photographs and the blurred license plates clearly hint the car was at least photographed out west) or is in fact now located in the Big Apple.

Without any details about this 1946 Buick Restomod, you’ll need to interview the seller to find out more and confirm this isn’t a scam listing.

Here’s the seller’s description:

Awesome restomod. This ’46 Buick looks like it may have inspired the design of the ’49/’50/’51 Mercury…my ultimate restomodable starter car!
