This 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner Hardtop Coupe features what is believed to be its original Air Grabber topped 383 cubic inch V8 backed by a four-speed manual transmission controlled by a Pistol Grip shifter. Torque is sent to a Sure-Grip-equipped 3.91:1 rear end.

The current caretaker purchased this 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner in May 2007 with 28,781 original miles on it. During his fifteen years of ownership, he added approximately 11K miles which stood at 39,428 as of the first week of May 2022.  This Roadrunner features a completely rebuilt engine, a new wiring harness, and the power brakes have been updated as well. With the exception of the windshield, the glass is all original.

While this Roadrunner features replacement rear quarter panels and trunk floor, the restoration work is high quality with good panel gaps and no waves in the panel sides.

A Complimentary Lemon Squad Pre-Purchase Inspection (“PPI”) was just completed on May 6, 2022, confirming the quality of this restored 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner hardtop.  To view the results of the PPI, click on the picture below.  When finished, click your browser’s back button to return to this page:

Please advise if the drivetrain was rebuilt?
Does the car have power steering?

Hi Al, the engine has been rebuilt, in the seller’s words, “Top to Bottom” but we will provide me details of what the internals of the V8’s rebuild contains on Tuesday. This is manual steering, power brake car. We’re not sure what you mean by “Pre-Inspections”? In addition to providing a detailed walk-around video and nearly two hundred detailed pictures of the car, we also provided a third-party Lemon Squad Pre-Purchase inspection that you can go through to understand the current condition of the car. If you are in the area and want to look at and inspect the car, you’ll need to register as a bidder and place a bid to show you are a serious buyer. Please feel free to call Rudy at 877-468-6497 with any additional questions. Thanks for looking!
