March 1, 2022 Update – Both the Internet and Guys With Rides never forget. After another seven-month hiatus, the seller of this vintage Chevrolet G10 we first spotted in January 2021 just re-listed their dated custom van.  This time around, they have the revised price set to $9,999

June 22, 2021 Update – Both the Internet and Guys With Rides never forget. After a sixth-month hiatus, we spotted a new listing for this 1967 Chevy G10 custom window van. Not successful selling their dated custom van at $10,000 back in the dead of winter, the seller subscribes to the outdated notion of increasing your price in summer as they are now asking $12,000 without having completed any updates or upgrades that would justify the higher price. That said, these hard-to-find 1960s vintage vans are hard to come by, so he might just find a buyer this time around.

February 23, 2021 Update – We just confirmed the listing for this “Classifind” expired, so with no replacement found we’re assuming this ride “Sold?” unless we come across another listing.

With law enforcement and insurance companies cracking down on performance cars, the 1970s saw car customization swing towards the custom van craze.  If you want a glimpse of what a typical customized van interior looked like during this time, this 1967 Chevrolet G10 window van originally listed in January 2021 in Derry, New Hampshire has its very dated shag carpeting and wood trim on full display. Offered at $10,000 currently, a quick check of that price against the  Collector Car Market Review Online Tool reveals the seller’s ask falls between this guide’s #2 “Very Good” estimate of $8,000 and its #1 “Excellent” appraisal of $15,000. Based upon the pictures provided, that seems a bit optimistic for what is a dated interior hidden inside what appears to be a newer but at best driver-quality repaint. That said, these G10s are very rare, so you’ll have to determine for yourself how flexible the seller is on this asking price.

This is the seller’s current ad description:

Your $10k van now listed by “Haggle Me” for $15k. Maybe flipper bought or seller went new route. I hate flippers and middle men. Means I won’t pursue vehicle.

Guys with rides, do you know anything about this van? I’m curious bc it’s been posted forever. I need a delivery vehicle for my bakery and this has potential but not sure if you know anyone who has seen it?

Sorry, as with all of our Craigslist Classifind blog posts, we no nothing about the cars beyond what the seller provides in their description and the observations we make based on the pictures provided. If you are seriously considering buying this van, we strongly encourage you to have a pre-purchase inspection (“PPI”) completed on your behalf. We currently recommend Lemon Squad, which charges $279 for its service. While a PPI is no guarantee, it does provide you with what works and what may need attention before you transfer title. Good luck and keep us posted if you buy it!

Richard, we have not come across another listing after the last ad expired, so we have to assume for now that it in fact sold. If we come across another listing for it, we will update our blog post with the information.
