Bidding opened Wednesday, July 13, at Noon Eastern time and runs for fourteen (14) consecutive days through Wednesday, July 27, at 4:00 PM Eastern time.
This 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS396 Two-Door Sport Coupe currently resides as part of a private collection in Chester, New Hampshire which is about a one-hour drive from Logan International Airport in Boston.
Long-time GuysWithRides.com followers may recognize this Chevelle from October 2021 when we first auctioned this car. At that time, the high bid did not meet the seller’s reserve price, so he elected to store the car over the winter. With summer now in full swing, the seller requested we try to auction the car again and we appreciate the opportunity to do so.

Chevrolet produced its version of GM’s A-Body Intermediate platform, the Chevelle as a mid-sized car line slotted between the compact Chevy II/Nova and full-size Bel Air/Impala. While Chevrolet produced the first-generation Chevelle line-up for the 1964 through 1967 model years, 1966 saw a complete restyle of the Chevelle on the previous frame that included smooth contours, a broad new grille, and bumper treatment as well as curved side windows. Bulging rear fender lines and a “flying buttress” roofline (tunneled into the “C” pillar) were highlights of the 1966 hardtops, shared with other GM “A” body models. The new body reflected the “Coke bottle” body shape that became the fad for American cars in the mid-1960s.The 1967 models received a facelift consisting of large wraparound taillamps that went into a new rear end with standard backup lights. Front disc brakes were available on all models, and a new dual master cylinder brake system incorporated a warning light. Chevrolet also added 14-inch wheels and a three-speed automatic transmission to their line of transmissions. New safety equipment became standard, including a collapsible steering column. The SS396 continued as its own series with both sport coupe and convertible body styles. Chevrolet offered three versions of the 396 cubic inch big-block V8: Standard in the SS396 was the 325 horsepower L35. Buyers also had the option of the 350 horsepower L34 or the 375 horsepower L78. While a three-speed manual came standard, buyers had their choice of two four-speed manual transmissions. Options included Superlift air shock absorbers, Strato-ease headrests, and special instrumentation.

So these comments are from last fall?
Hi Conrad, to clarify, we first auctioned this Chevelle last fall, however, the high bid did not meet the seller’s reserve price, so he decided to keep it for the winter and has now asked us to run a new auction.
Is there a Buy Now price?
