Bidding opens Wednesday, March 15, 2023, and continues for fourteen (14) consecutive days, ending at 4:00 PM Eastern time on Wednesday, March 29, 2023.

This 2003 VRod currently resides as part of a private collection located on the eastern end of Long Island, New York.

Harley-Davidson produced its V-Twin Racing Street Custom (“VRSC”) line of motorcycles from 1999 through 2017. Better known as “VRods,” enthusiasts often call them “Muscle Bikes” for their high power-to-weight ratio.  Harley-Davidson broke the design tradition with the VRod as they are the company’s first venture into offering water cooling and double overhead camshafts.

With design help provided by Porsche, the VRod’s Revolution engine features electronic fuel injection feeding the internally counterbalanced 60-degree V-twin engine displacing 69.0 cubic inches and producing 115 horsepower in stock form.  VRods all came factory-equipped with 3.7-gallon gas tanks.  fuel tanks and were only offered with forward controls. 2003 VRod models were included in Harley-Davidson’s line of 100th-anniversary editions that year.

The seller is the second owner. This 2003 Harley-Davidson VRod 100th Anniversary Edition is a 14,400-mile example that starts easily, idles smoothly, and shows no signs of fluid leakage.  Blemishes (refer to the picture gallery) include some oxidation on the lower front forks and scratches on the right side of the air box.

Included in the sale are the following:

• An official Harley-Davidson cover
• Two sets of wheels. The set mounted on the bike is polished, while the second set is the factory satin finish wheels.
