July 11, 2023, Update – We confirmed the listing for this “Classifind” expired, so with no replacement found, we’re assuming this ride is “Sold?” While this one got away, please reach out either by email or call us directly if you’d like to be informed when we come across something similar.

June 27, 2023 Update – Candidly, we’re quite surprised this all-wheel-drive supercharged Previa has not already sold.  Previas spec’d like this example do not come up for sale very often.  Perhaps its the asking price, but the seller just addressed that by lowering it from $14,500 to $12,900.

Mid-engine layout. Supercharged and intercooled engine. All-wheel drive. Reading these adjectives likely makes you think we are blogging about a performance car, not a minivan.  In the case of the second-generation Previa, however, those are the ingredients of Toyota’s unique egg-shaped minivan produced from 1990 through 1999.  While all second-generation Previas featured an inline-four mounted amidships under the front driver and passenger seats, up-trim models featured supercharging and intercooling and Toyota’s Alltrac all-wheel-drive system. Loathed by many when new, Toyota Previa SC All Tracs have amassed a cult-like following.  Don’t believe us? Search on YouTube for “Toyota Previa Supercharged AllTrac” and prepare to be schooled.

It’s not often we come across a suitable feature candidate, however, this green 113K mile 1995 Toyota Previa SC Alltrac for sale on Craigslist in June 2023 in Taylorsville, Utah (Salt Lake City) checks all of the boxes.  Not only is the version Previa enthusiasts clamor for, but the seller of this example also completed all of the maintenance items and modified the suspension and all-wheel drive system to facilitate offroading with this minivan.

Currently offered for $12,900 (the original ask was $14,500), Classic.com, the analytics and search engine for the collector car market, confirms the ask is well above the one-year rolling average of this guide’s summary for second-generation Previa Minivans. We note, however, that auction sales for these rare minivans are sporadic.
