Does “factory widebody” mean this car was ordered with the M491 option or that factory steel flres were welded on and other OEM sheet metal/parts were used?
Our understanding is that the car features the M491 option however, during taking photographs we could not locate a factory options sticker to confirm that and the seller does not have a C.O.A to confirm it either. We’re currently checking with the seller whether they have other documentation to support what type of wide body this Targa features.
Hi John, thank you for your patience. The seller just confirmed he has no documentation to support the car being a factory M491 widebody. Our research confirmed that one key tell is the mounting position of the rear calipers. This Targa’s forward-mounted rear calipers indicate this car received a steel fender conversion at some point. Consequently, we’ve updated the listing accordingly.
