“If I could travel back in time in 1969 and had the means, this LeMans Blue over Bright Blue C3 Corvette convertible is pretty much how I would order mine.  The L46 350 cubic inch option offered 350 horsepower in 1969 and was the highest spec small block you could order in 1969.  While that engine is long gone, in its place is Chevy’s famed ZZ4 crate motor, which also offers 350 horsepower but does so using modern low-octane pump gas.  The most interesting option on this 1969 Corvette features RPO A85, which are the optional shoulder belts.  While standard on coupes by 1969, only 600 convertibles (1.55% of production) came so equipped.  We believe the presence of the shoulder belts is why the car features low-back bucket seats with no headrests.  If we’re wrong about it, please comment below.  Most importantly, this 1969 Corvette convertible features both power brakes and power steering as well as a tilt-and-telescopic steering wheel to make this a much easier driving C3″

As a past owner of several C3 Corvettes, the seller reports this 1969 LeMans Blue convertible is the quietest example he’s ever driven.  The prior caretaker he bought the car from one year ago owned the car for 35 years.  Over the past year, the current caretaker replaced the tires and clutch.  A tough job the seller already addressed is the rear wheel bearings.  The car also benefits from a front suspension rebuild as well as a four-wheel alignment. The seller reports their C3 tracks straight and brakes well. Additionally, the seller replaced the exhaust with a proper rear-exiting system featuring Magnaflow mufflers for a sound comparable to when the car was new.

The seller also reports everything on their 1969 Corvette works as designed, save for two minor issues. The first is that the emergency brake light appears to be burned out.  The second is that seat belt warning light stays lit.
