The return of low gas prices in the 1990s led many consumers in need of station wagon-like room to purchase conversion vans. Conversion vans offered all of the seating and storage capacity of a station wagon or suburban-size vehicle, often with a high-top roof and a more luxurious interior. They were the perfect vehicle for families who needed to travel comfortably for such things as travel sports or to visit family.

This Burgundy 1999 Dodge Ram Van Mark III Conversion for sale, first spotted on Craigslist in Zephyrhills, Florida in February 2024, is a great example featuring a camper that gives this van added versatility.  The seller notes they used the van solely for visiting family in Wisconsin, so it’s safe to assume much of the mileage shown is likely highway miles accumulated between Florida and Wisconsin.

Now offered for $5,500 (the original ask was $6,500),, the analytics and search engine for the collector car market, confirms the ask aligns with this guide’s six-month results for all Dodge Ram Vans produced between 1972 and 2003.  By clicking on the green dots in the graph below, you can get a sense of what comparable examples sold for recently:

It is shinny because its wet from washing..Needs a good detailing/buffing/paint job.

Previous owner lived near ocean. Not a Northern vehicle so not bad under neath. Normal for age. Started removing pin stripes… yea that did not work out well..

Tires all good with no leaks or repairs. Getting time for new tires.
Oil was always changed 3-4,000 miles.
