Key findings include a tripled low-mileage premium at Mecum, a 38-42% surge in European imports while domestic sales decline, and a dramatic split in the 1950s market with late-decade cars down 11% while early 50s examples jumped 28%. The analysis exposes how Bring a Trailer’s shift to 44% no-reserve auctions transfers all risk to sellers. At the same time, the $20K-$100K market segment increasingly demands either exceptional documentation and condition or bargain pricing—with no comfortable middle ground remaining. Episode #6 (August 26, 2024) – Bill, the owner of the 1966 Batmobile replica featured in Episode 6, has generously agreed to offer a free Batmobile ride to the winner of Rudy’s choice.
